Operating Instructions

Ensure the machine is securely bolted to the bench stand and the stand is firmly clamped to the workbench.
Mount the lower crimping roll onto the driving lugs of the lower gear, ensuring proper alignment with the key slots.
To mesh the upper crimping roll with the lower, rotate the upper gear until the lugs align correctly.
Adjust the machine as follows:
- Mount the crimping and ogee beading rolls securely with roll nuts.
- Use the adjusting screw handle to raise or lower the upper rolls.
- Set the movement limit of the upper rolls with the setscrew.
- Adjust the pivot screw for a fade-away or straight crimp.
For crimping only, remove the ogee bead rolls and crimping rolls, mount spacers on the arbors, and securely lock with roll nuts.
Lubricate machine arbors, screws, rocking box, journal bearings, and gears with medium motor oil regularly.
